Pros of Indian Airlines

I flew with Indian in the Trivandrum-Mumbai sector recently. The aircraft was a brand new Airbus A 319. The food was good, especially for those who like South Indian fare. Muthoot Air Caterers have done a good job. The flight was able to leave right on time and reached Mumbai on time. And given the fact that the flight was 80% full, one should give full marks to the ground crew of Indian. Security check at Trivandrum airport is far better than Mumbai. Maybe, because they handle lesser passengers. Take off and landing was good. The overall experience was excellent in my opinion.

Another time I flew with Indian Airlines was a flight from Indore to Mumbai which was 20 mins late but the services was superb. The plane looked new and the food which was served was fine and nice. The flight attendents were well dressed and dedicated. Flight was short and enjoyable.

On return, I again flew Indian Airlines and I was even more satisfied this time. The flight was just on time and the check-in was also fast and efficient. I had excess luggage, which was accomodated with no extra charge. It was an early morning flight so breakfast was served. Food was hot and tasty and filling. The inflight service was fast and good. The airhostess were friendly and were able to control a jam full flight. I would fly Indian Airlines again definitely. My luggage came within minutes after the fligt landed. The planes on both ways were A320.
